Description
TRANSLUCENT SKYLIGHT PANELS (Polyester Roof Panels)
Translucent skylight panels are the most reliable and energy-efficient solution for integrating natural daylighting zones into roof and wall cladding systems. Composed of two trapezoidal polyester sheets, these panels are specifically engineered for structures where the use of traditional glass is impractical or restrictive, yet high light transmission is essential.
Key Features & Advantages
Substantial Energy Savings: By maximizing the influx of natural daylight into the building’s interior, they significantly lower dependency on artificial electrical lighting and reduce operational power costs.
High UV Radiation Resistance: Features advanced protection against ultraviolet rays, preventing sun-induced yellowing, material degradation, and surface weathering.
Easy Installation & Flush Fitting: Their geometry precisely mimics standard insulated roof panels, facilitating fast installation, secure overlapping, and reliable waterproofing with zero compatibility issues.
Common Applications
Industrial plants, factories, manufacturing facilities, and logistics warehouses
Sports complexes, indoor stadiums, and gymnasiums
Agricultural storage sheds, livestock facilities, and commercial greenhouses
Commercial carports, canopy covers, and any steel frame structure requiring daylight
Technical Specifications
Composition: Twin trapezoidal polyester sheets.
Top Sheet: 1.50 mm thickness (remains uniform during application across all panel variants).
Bottom Sheet: 1.00 mm thickness (available in various profile heights to accommodate the required core insulation depth).
Standalone Option: The top translucent sheet can be supplied individually, perfectly optimized for assembly alongside single-skin trapezoidal steel profiles such as TPS40.1000 or TPS50.1000.
