A new, state-of-the-art street sweeper to meet local sanitation needs was welcomed by the Mayor of Trikala, following a donation by the family of Vanessa Milioni (Microbiologist) and Stefanos Gkolitos (METALLICO S.A.).
The Mayor of Trikala extended his special, public thanks to the donors, Ms. Milioni and Mr. Gkolitos, emphasizing that:
“This act strengthens the spirit of contribution from Trikala residents to Trikala residents, driven by a strong sense of social responsibility. We emphasize cooperation, lead the way in best practices, and accept a donation of particular significance that directly aligns with our goal for a cleaner city. [We commend] the sense of responsibility shown by both donors.”
This specific street sweeper has been assigned to the Department of Sanitation and Special Crews (Directorate of Reciprocal Services). With its deployment:
– The services provided to citizens are upgraded
– Working conditions are improved
– The mechanical equipment of the Municipality of Trikala is further modernized
